Martin Machine & Molding was established in 1965 in Odessa, Texas, by Palmer Martin, to provide replacement parts for portable drilling rigs. In 1978, much of the machinery was relocated to Austin, Texas, and Martin Machine Corp was formed and incorporated to provide easier access to its primary customer Drilling Supply & Manufacturing. In 1985, as the economy slowed down in West Texas, Martin Machine Corp., was flourishing in Austin. It was decided to cease operations in Odessa and move the remaining equipment to Martin Machine Corp., in Austin.

With the combination of the 2 shops, it was then possible to solicit other types of machining ventures. Martin Machine Corp., is providing machining support for all types of vendors throughout Central Texas. At the present time Martin Machine Corp., has 8 employees with decades of combined experience to handle any type of machining requests.
